Nonprofit and international development organizations often prepare extensive project reports at the request of external donors, but these documents are frequently underutilized once submitted. Case-Based Learning (CBL)—introduced in this paper—is an effective approach for transforming such reports into practical tools for collective learning, policy refinement, and program innovation.
Institutions such as the World Bank, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the Korea NGO Council for Overseas Development Cooperation (KCOC) have invested in systematic case archives to enhance transparency and strengthen long-term impact. In line with this trend, Gfoundation established its own archive in August 2025 to ensure that records of domestic and international donor-funded projects evolve into valuable knowledge resources—shared with academia, peer NGOs, and policymakers—rather than remaining static documentation.
